(hereinafter also “Cantine Polvanera” or “Owner”) is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy and wishes you to feel safe both during simple site navigation and if you decide to register by providing us your personal data to access the services made available to its Users and/or Customers. On this page Cantine Polvanera intends to provide some information on the processing of personal data relating to users who visit or consult the website accessible telematically from www.cantinepolvanera.it (the “Site”). The information is provided only for Cantine Polvanera's website and not for other websites possibly consulted by the user through links (for which reference is made to the respective privacy notices/policies). Reproduction or use of pages, materials and information contained inside the Site, by any means and on any medium, is not permitted without Cantine Polvanera's prior written consent. Copying and/or printing for personal and non-commercial use is allowed (for requests and clarifications contact Cantine Polvanera at the contacts below). Other uses of the contents, services and information on this site are not permitted.

Regarding the content offered and the information provided, Cantine Polvanera will strive to keep the Site’s content reasonably up to date and reviewed, without offering any warranty as to the adequacy, accuracy or completeness of the information provided, expressly declining any liability for any errors or omissions in the information provided on the Site.

Origin – Navigation data

Cantine Polvanera informs that the personal data you provide and those obtained in conjunction with the information request and/or contact, site registration and use of the services via smartphone or any other device used to access the Internet, as well as the data necessary to provide such services, including navigation data and data used for any purchase of products and services offered by Cantine Polvanera but also the so-called 'navigation' data of the site by Users, will be processed in compliance with applicable law. The computer systems and software procedures used for the operation of this website collect, in the course of their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of the Internet. These are informations not collected to be linked to identified subjects, but by their very nature could, through processing and associations with data held by third parties, allow identifying the browsing users. In this data category are included the IP addresses or the host names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, the URI notation addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the web server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the web server (ok, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computing environment. These data are used solely to derive anonymous statistical information about the site’s use and to monitor the proper functioning of Cantine Polvanera’s website. It should be noted that the aforementioned data could be used to ascertain liability in case of cybercrimes against the Cantine Polvanera site or other sites connected or linked to it: except for this possibility, at present web contact data do not persist for more than a few days.

Origin – Data provided by the user

Cantine Polvanera collects, stores and processes your personal data in order to provide the products and services offered on the Site, or to comply with legal obligations. Regarding some specific Services, Products, Promotions, etc., Cantine Polvanera may also process your data for commercial purposes. In such cases, a specific separate, optional and revocable consent will be requested, with methods and contact details provided below.

Voluntary, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mail to the addresses listed in the dedicated section of the Website, as well as filling out questionnaires (e.g., forms), communication via chat, push notifications via APP, social networks, call center, etc., involves the subsequent acquisition of some of your personal data, including those collected through the use of Apps and related services, necessary to respond to requests. We also note that when using mobile connection to access digital content and services offered directly by Cantine Polvanera or by our Partners it may be necessary to transfer your personal data to those third parties. You should be aware that you may access the Site or connect to areas where you may be enabled to publish information using blogs or boards, communicate with others, for example coming from Cantine Polvanera’s page on Facebook®, LinkedIn®, YouTube®, and other social networking sites, review products and offers and publish comments or content. Before interacting with such areas we invite you to carefully read the General Conditions of Use, considering that, in some circumstances, the information published may be viewed by anyone with Internet access and all information you include in your publications can be read, collected and used by third parties.

Purposes of processing and legal basis

The data are processed for the purposes:

– strictly related and necessary to register at the site www.cantinepolvanera.it, to the services and/or Apps developed or made available by Cantine Polvanera, to use the related information services, to manage contact or information requests, and to carry out purchases of products and services offered through Cantine Polvanera's site;

– for ancillary activities connected with handling User/Customer requests and sending a response that may include the transmission of promotional material; for completing the purchase order of the products and services offered, including aspects related to payment by credit card, management of shipments, any exercise of the right of withdrawal provided for distance purchases, updates on the availability of products and services temporarily unavailable;

– related to compliance with obligations under Community and national regulations, to the protection of public order, to the ascertainment and repression of crimes;

– direct marketing, namely sending advertising material, direct selling, conducting market research or commercial communications of products and/or services offered by Cantine Polvanera; this activity may also concern products and services of Cantine Polvanera Group companies and be carried out by sending advertising/informational/promotional material and/or invitations to participate in initiatives, events and offers aimed at rewarding users/customers, carried out with "traditional" methods (for example postal mail and/or operator-initiated calls), or through automated contact systems (for example SMS and/or MMS, calls without operator intervention, e-mail, fax, interactive applications), pursuant to art. 130(1)(2) of Legislative Decree 196/03 and subsequent amendments.

The provisioning of data for the purposes referred to in points 1), 2) and 3), connected to a pre-contractual and/or contractual phase or functional to a user request or provided by a specific regulatory provision, is mandatory and, failing this, it will not be possible to receive the information and access the services possibly requested; with regard to point 4) of this Information, consent to the processing of data by the user/client is instead free and optional and always revocable without consequences on the usability of products and services, except for the impossibility for Cantine Polvanera to keep up to date the users/clients on new initiatives or on particular promotions or advantages that may be available.

Cantine Polvanera may send commercial communications relating to products and/or services similar to those already provided, pursuant to Directive 2002/58/EC, using the email addresses, or paper addresses, that you indicate on such occasions, to which you may object using the methods and contact details provided below.

Methods, processing logic, retention times, and security measures

The processing is also performed with the aid of electronic or automated means and is carried out by Cantine Polvanera and/or by third parties that Cantine Polvanera may rely on to store, manage and transmit the data themselves. The data processing will be performed with organizational and processing logic of your personal data, including logs generated from the access and use of the services made available via the web, of the products and services consumed related to the purposes indicated above and, in any case, in such a way as to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data. The personal data processed will be kept for the periods required by applicable law over time.

Returning to data security, in the sections of the website prepared for particular services where personal data is requested from the user browsing, the data are encrypted using a security technology called Secure Sockets Layer, abbreviated as SSL. The SSL technology encodes information before it is exchanged via the Internet between the user’s computer and Cantine Polvanera’s central systems, making it incomprehensible to unauthorized parties and thus ensuring the confidentiality of the transmitted information; furthermore, transactions carried out using electronic payment tools are performed directly on the platform of the Payment Service Provider (PSP) and Cantine Polvanera keeps only the minimum set of information necessary to manage any disputes. With specific reference to personal data protection aspects, the user/client is invited, pursuant to art. 33 of the GDPR, to report to Cantine Polvanera any circumstances or events from which a potential data breach may arise in order to allow an immediate assessment and the adoption of any actions aimed at countering such event by sending a communication to info@cantinepolvanera.it or by contacting Customer Service. The measures adopted by Cantine Polvanera do not exempt the Customer from exercising the necessary attention to use, where requested, a password/PIN with adequate complexity that should be updated periodically, especially if they fear they have been violated/known by third parties, as well as keeping it carefully and making it inaccessible to third parties to prevent improper and unauthorized uses.

Cookies

A cookie is a short string of text that is sent to your browser and, possibly, saved on your computer (or on your smartphone/tablet or any other device used to access the Internet); this transmission typically occurs each time you visit a website. Cantine Polvanera uses cookies for various purposes, in order to offer you a quick and secure digital experience, for example by allowing you to keep your connection active to the protected area while navigating through the pages of the site.

The cookies stored on your terminal cannot be used to retrieve any data from your hard disk, transmit computer viruses, or identify and use your e-mail address. Each cookie is unique to the browser and device you use to access the Website or use the Cantine Polvanera App. Generally, the purpose of cookies is to improve the functioning of the website and the user’s experience in its use, although cookies can be used to deliver advertising messages (as detailed below). Areas of communication and data transfer.

For pursuing the above-mentioned purposes, Cantine Polvanera may communicate and have personal data processed, in Italy and abroad, to third parties with whom we have relationships, where these third parties provide services at our request. We will provide these third parties only the information necessary to perform the requested services, taking all measures to protect your personal data. The data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area if this is necessary to manage your contractual relationship. In that case, the data recipients will be subject to protection and security obligations equivalent to those guaranteed by the Data Controller. In the case of using services offered directly by Partners we will provide only the data strictly necessary for their execution. In any case, only the data necessary to pursue the intended purposes will be communicated and, where required, the guarantees applicable to transfers of data to third countries will be applied. We may also disclose personal data to our commercial service providers, for marketing reasons, appointing them as external data handlers for this purpose. Furthermore, personal data may be communicated to the competent public authorities for compliance with regulatory obligations or for the determination of liability in case of crimes.

IT service providers involved with the site, as well as those communicated to, or located with, third parties (in the capacity of data controllers or, if they are providers of electronic communication services, as independent data controllers), who provide IT and telematic services (e.g., hosting services, management and development of websites) and whom Cantine Polvanera uses to carry out tasks and activities of a technical and organizational nature instrumental to the operation of the website. The entities belonging to the categories above operate as separate Data Controllers or as Processors appointed by Cantine Polvanera as appropriate.

Personal data may also be known by Cantine Polvanera employees/consultants who are specially trained and appointed as Data Processors.

Rights of the data subjects

You may exercise at any time the rights granted to you by law, including the right:

  1. to access your personal data, obtaining evidence of the purposes pursued by the Controller, the categories of data involved, the recipients to whom they may be communicated, the applicable retention period, the existence of automated decision-making processes;
  2. to obtain without delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you;
  3. to obtain, where provided, the erasure of your data;
  4. to obtain a restriction on processing or to object to it, where possible;
  5. to request the portability of the data you have provided to Cantine Polvanera, namely to receive them in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, also for transmitting such data to another controller, within the limits and with the restrictions provided by Art. 20 of the GDPR;

Furthermore, you may file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority pursuant to art. 77 of the GDPR. 

For the processing referred to in point 4) of the purposes, the Client may always withdraw consent and exercise the right to object to direct marketing (in the 'traditional' and 'automated' form). The objection, unless otherwise indicated, will apply to both traditional and automated communications.

The use of the Website, including those intended for tablets and/or smartphones, by the Customer and/or User implies full knowledge and acceptance of the contents and any instructions included in this version of the privacy notice published by Cantine Polvanera at the time the site is accessed. Cantine Polvanera informs that this privacy notice may be amended without notice, and therefore periodic reading is recommended.
